After School Art & Nature Play Series

Calling all 5-12 year olds who love making things and exploring nature! This spring of 2025 I will again be offering TWO after school options at the Mt Hood Town Hall in Parkdale, Oregon.

On Tuesdays from 3-5pm, I will be doing my "Let Grow Creative Play" series. This is an after-school offering for kid-driven creative projects. Attendees will be given loads of free play freedom! Half our time will be outdoors and half indoors with ample creative tools and mediums to fuel your child's imagination. I will not be giving direct instruction for this class, but I will be there for guidance and support as your kids make their own projects with the materials provided. If the group is interested in exploring a particular medium, I will support them in doing so.

On Thursdays from 3-5pm, I'll be leading kids through my regular "Art & Nature Play Dates." These sessions will include about half our time outdoors with some free play and some coordinated group games. The second half of class will be guided art classes indoors where we will do projects designed to explore our connections to each other and the natural world. I will plan the art we do for this series and offer more structured support and projects.

As in the past, an Early Care option (including bus transport from Parkdale Elementary to the Mt. Hood Town Hall) will be available for both of these classes starting at 2:30pm.

TIME: 3:00-5:00pm (with 2:30-3:00pm Early Care option)
