Wildwood Academy

Who we are

We are small, vibrant, and growing.  Our school is growing from 11 to up to 20 students grades 5-8.  We are based in the historic Mt Hood Town Hall, a 100-year-old beautifully restored schoolhouse and community hub.  

We have a dynamic, brilliant, and experienced classroom teacher, an energetic, skilled, and inspiring Adventure Monday teacher, guest teachers from the community, and two administrators. 

Wildwood strives to help our students prepare for the rest of their lives. We’re passionate not just about academics, but about the development of complete, well-rounded people. We value emotional and social intelligence just as highly as math and literacy skills. 

Admissions for the 25/26 school year are now open. We’re always happy to chat. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you or your student may have.

Homeschool Hybrid Options

In addition to offering our full-time Wildwood program, we welcome local homeschool students who are interested in joining us for one or more days each week.  Coming to Wildwood can be a fun way to try new things, make new friends, and expand your learning opportunities beyond core subjects.  Homeschool students can opt to join us for Adventure Mondays and/or join us Tuesday-Friday afternoons for art, sportsmanship, science, guest workshops and more!

4. Schedule an optional shadow day in April where your student can come experience Wildwood for a day.
