Columbia Gorge Youth Soccer (CGYS) provides recreational soccer programs for youth in 3rd through 8th grade, offering a fun and engaging environment where players can develop their skills and learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Our mission is to promote the development of youth through soccer by empowering players in a community-driven program that emphasizes skill enhancement, teamwork, and the principles of fair play—all while fostering a lifelong love for the sport.
Our vision is to establish a leading recreational youth soccer program that champions personal growth, community unity, and a positive environment for all players, coaches, and families. Through strong community partnerships, CGYS is committed to making soccer accessible and affordable for families throughout the Columbia Gorge.
Spring 2025 Registration Detail
REGISTRATION, FEES AND TEAM FORMATION
Returning players will be assigned to the same team they played on during the Fall 2024 season.
** Returning players can keep the same jerseys from the Fall 2024 season and pay a discounted registration fee. **
Team formation:
- Spring 2025 rosters will remain the same as Fall 2024.
- Returning players will reuse their jerseys from the Fall - if you need another jersey you should select the new player + jersey option.
- New players will be assigned to an existing team. We will do our best to pair you with your neighborhood school when possible.
3rd-4th GRADE DIVISION
** $10 discount available to returning Fall 2024 players that can reuse jerseys **
5th-6th GRADE DIVISION
** $10 discount available to returning Fall 2024 players that can reuse jerseys **
7th-8th GRADE DIVISION
** No jersey discount available - this is the first Spring season that we are offering 7th-8th Grade Division **
GENERAL SEASON INFORMATION
IMPORTANT DATES
Registration Closes February 28th – After 2/28/25 registration (fee increase)
Coaches meeting March 31, 2025
Practices may begin the week of April 7, 2025
GAME DATES
All divisions will have a 6 game season.
First games will begin April 25th and final games will be held June 6th.
Games will generally be played on Thursday and Friday evenings.
HOME PRACTICES + COMPETITION LOCATIONS
Practices will begin the week of April 7th.
Practice days and times will be based on coach availability.
Practices will take place at HRCSD fields.
